HISTORY

The Foundation of I. A. Englander & Co.
Dedicated to service excellence for institutional customers, the firm leverages its options and equity trading acumen and employs leading-edge technologies to optimize the speed and efficiency of complex derivatives trading.

I. A. Englander was founded in 1977 as a partnership on the American Stock Exchange (AMEX) and a floor brokerage "boutique." Today, Englander's core options execution business represents a significant share of the daily traded contracts on the AMEX, the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), and the Pacific Stock Exchange (PSE). The firm was also one of the first independent floor brokers on the all-electronic International Securities Exchange (ISE). I. A. Englander is a member of the Finra.

Our experienced staff executes a wide array of structured product transactions from an off-floor trading desk, as well as on each exchange floor. From its position 'in the trenches' of these trading floors, the company is strategically positioned to provide clients with direct access to its floor brokers on the CBOE, AMEX and PCX.
